Overview

We are designing the grid of the future!

Electric Power Engineers (EPE) is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to own and optimize our digital demand-generation strategy. This role is designed for a B2B digital marketer with deep experience in LinkedIn Ads, PPC, geo-targeted campaigns, CRM best practices, and strategically managing a future-ready Martech stack.

As part of EPE’s Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Manager will work with directors to drive digital campaigns that generate qualified leads, optimize our Payload CMS website, and manage digital advertising budgets. They will partner closely with our Marketing and Sales Operations teams — who own Salesforce and HubSpot administration — to ensure campaigns flow seamlessly through the CRM and deliver measurable ROI.

This is a hybrid role combining hands-on campaign management with the ability to collaborate with technical partners (Ops, IT, engineering) to enhance EPE’s digital stack.

Responsibilities

How you can make an impact:

Digital Advertising & Demand Generation

  • Lead and manage LinkedIn Ads, PPC/SEM, and geo-targeted advertising to reach developers, utilities, and energy decision-makers.
  • Optimize campaigns for CPL, CPA, and ROI, ensuring alignment with sales pipeline goals.
  • Own digital advertising budgets, making data-driven allocation decisions across channels.
  • Conduct A/B testing for creative, targeting, and landing pages.

Marketing Automation & CRM Collaboration

  • Serve as HubSpot power user, building campaigns, landing pages, nurture workflows, and reports.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Operations teams to ensure HubSpot ↔ Salesforce integration is clean and effective.
  • Continuously refine lead scoring criteria and campaign goals; Ops manages backend logic, Digital owns performance.
  • Build dashboards to track funnel health from impressions through MQLs, SQLs, and opportunities.

Website Optimization (Payload CMS)

  • Manage website updates and campaign landing pages with a focus on SEO and conversion optimization.
  • Partner with IT and engineering for technical enhancements (tracking, analytics, integrations).
  • Align site content with campaigns to maximize inbound lead generation.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Define KPIs and produce regular reports on digital performance, budget utilization, and ROI.
  • Use data to recommend campaign adjustments, targeting refinements, and budget shifts.
  • Translate results into actionable insights for marketing leadership and business development.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure campaign data flows cleanly into Salesforce.
  • Work with IT, engineering, and external vendors on digital enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and subject matter experts to translate EPE’s technical expertise into compelling digital campaigns.

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • 5–7 years of digital marketing experience in B2B demand generation (agency or in-house; energy/utility or consultative industries preferred).
  • Current HubSpot certifications (Inbound, Marketing Hub, or equivalent) and significant HubSpot campaign experience.
  • Current Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications (Search, Display, GA4 Analytics) and significant PPC/SEM experience.
  • Proven expertise managing PPC/SEM (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, geo-targeted), with clear ROI outcomes.
  • Experience managing digital advertising budgets and optimizing spend efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot ↔ Salesforce CRM integration and marketing attribution.
  • Hands-on website management experience, preferably with Payload CMS or modern headless CMS.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for B2B lead gen websites.
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, ad platforms, and SEO/PPC tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
