Overview

We are designing the grid of the future! 

As Creative Director at EPE, you will lead the strategic and creative direction of our video and brand presence. You will oversee internal and external creative teams, define content strategy, and ensure all creative output meets the highest standards of professionalism. This role blends hands-on video production with leadership of brand identity, positioning EPE as a trusted and authoritative consulting partner.

Brand Vision & Strategy

  • Define and own the end-to-end creative vision for EPE’s video presence, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.
  • Translate business objectives into compelling video content strategies that support growth, client acquisition, and industry authority.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our target audience and industry to inform tone, style, and messaging.

Creative Leadership & Management

  • Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of high-quality corporate video, including brand storytelling, thought leadership series, client testimonials, case studies, training content, and event coverage.
  • Provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and oversight to ensure excellence in all creative work.
  • Build and manage a content roadmap that supports marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and corporate communications.

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and own the video content strategy, ensuring alignment with marketing and business goals.
  • Ensure all video content meets brand quality standards, maintains a professional corporate tone, and is optimized for platform-specific requirements (LinkedIn, YouTube, IG Reels, website, etc.).
  • Oversee post-production processes (editing, VFX, sound design, and final quality control).
  • Participate directly in content creation when needed (scripting, filming, editing, directing).

Project & Resource Management

  • Define timelines, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery of creative projects
  • Manage relationships with freelancers, agencies, and production vendors.
  • Track and manage creative budgets to maximize ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with executive leadership, marketing, sales, and business development teams to align creative with broader business priorities.
  • Translate complex consulting services into easy-to-understand, compelling, client-facing narratives.
  • Support corporate communications, campaigns, and events with high-quality visual storytelling.
  • Work with external vendors, freelancers, and production partners to scale creative output as needed.

 

Brand & Market Alignment

  • Stay current with industry trends to inform creative direction.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for engagement, SEO, metadata, and platform-specific requirements.
  • Establish KPIs for content performance, including engagement, lead generation, and brand sentiment.
  • Review analytics regularly and adjust strategy to improve impact.

Team Development

  • Build and mentor a small but agile team of creative professionals
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative environment while holding team members accountable.

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in creative direction, with emphasis on video production and brand storytelling.

  • Proven ability to manage teams and external vendors while delivering high-quality creative output.

  • Strong creative and strategic vision with hands-on production expertise.

  •  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or B2B corporate environments preferred.

Location: This position will be located in Austin, TX

Travel:  Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
