We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, cloud automation, Kubernetes, and AWS. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our systems while driving automation and infrastructure-as-code best practices. 

 

How you can make an impact:

  • Infrastructure as Code: Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources.
  • Cloud Automation: Implement and optimize automation pipelines for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
  • Kubernetes Management: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
  • AWS Expertise: Architect and manage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda) to support business applications.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, NewRelic) to ensure system health and respond to incidents.
  • Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices, including IAM roles, network security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with application needs and business goals.
  • Optimization: Continuously improve infrastructure performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability through analysis and automation.

 

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • Experience: 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Terraform: Advanced proficiency in writing, organizing, and optimizing Terraform modules for complex infrastructure.
  • Kubernetes: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including cluster management, Helm charts, and operators.
  • AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFormation, and EKS.
  • Automation Tools: Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Containerization: Expertise in Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring: Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
  • Security: Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including encryption, IAM, and network security.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
  • Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD
  • Knowledge of database administration (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with infrastructure cost optimization and FinOps practices.
