We are seeking a hands-on Manager to lead our Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps team. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to drive our cloud infrastructure operations, automation initiatives, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable both architecting high-level solutions and rolling up their sleeves to implement and troubleshoot when needed 

 

 

How you can make an impact:

 

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of DevOps engineers and cloud specialists
  • Directly manage cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP, including architecting solutions and implementing best practices
  • Drive the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability
  • Lead incident response for critical production issues, participating in on-call rotations as needed
  • Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability standards
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure visibility into system health and performance
  • Develop and enforce security best practices across our cloud infrastructure
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our operations
  • Manage and maintain access controls to software development infrastructure including Jira, Tailscale, Github, NewRelic, etc.

 

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS
  • 3+ years of experience leading DevOps and SRE teams
  • Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Demonstrated expertise with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location: This position will open to Remote

Travel:  Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
