Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with daily accounting tasks, financial reporting, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. You will also support our Financial Controller in managing financial operations for both U.S. and offshore entities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
How you can make an impact:
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in preparing financial reports, tax filings, and audits.
Process invoices, expense reports, and payroll entries.
Monitor and track outstanding payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies.
Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting as needed.
Provide administrative support to the accounting department, such as document filing, record organization, and responding to inquiries.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling financial information.
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA or CMA is a plus).
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, BQE CORE, or similar ERP systems).
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
