As the IT Support Technician, you will install, maintain, test, and repairs systems and networks. You will support IT initiatives and provide technical support to local and remote employees. This is a highly interactive in-person position serving our corporate office in Bee Cave, TX.
How you can make an impact:
System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
User Support: Provide first or second-level technical support to end-users, addressing issues related to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating more complex issues to senior administrators when necessary.
Documentation: Create and update documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems and data, including user access controls and antivirus solutions.
Backup and Recovery: Assist in implementing and managing backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Updates and Patching: Assist in applying software updates, patches, and firmware upgrades to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Monitoring: Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to maintain a stable and reliable IT environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to resolve technical issues, implement solutions, and contribute to IT projects.
User Training: Provide basic training to end-users on new systems, applications, and IT best practices.
Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
