We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Server Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in managing Windows-based systems, a strong understanding of networking and storage systems, and experience with system security protocols.
How you can make an impact:
Server Management: Design, install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments, including server hardware, operating systems, and related software.
Active Directory & Domain Services: Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core services. Administer domain controllers, trusts, and forests.
Virtualization: Administer and maintain virtual environments (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) for optimal performance and scalability.
Security: Implement and manage security protocols including patch management, security updates, and antivirus solutions. Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Disaster Recovery: Develop, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans. Ensure regular testing and compliance with business continuity requirements.
Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, conduct system audits, and make recommendations to improve server efficiency and capacity planning.
Automation & Scripting: Use PowerShell or other scripting languages to automate routine administrative tasks and system configurations.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with IT staff, vendors, and other departments to provide high-level support and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of all system configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior administrators, offering technical expertise and leadership within the team.
Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:
5+ years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator, with advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
Expertise in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewalls, and load balancing.
Knowledge of storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup technologies.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.
Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning tools.
Solid understanding of security principles, patch management, and disaster recovery processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Travel: Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
