We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive In-House Corporate Contracts Paralegal to support our legal team in management corporate contracts and other legal matters.  The ideal candidate will assist in various legal functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and helping streamline legal processes.

 

 

How you can make an impact:

  • Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Renew and maintain company licensing, including state registrations, certificates of authority and professional engineering licensures, including monitoring deadlines and renewal dates.
  • Respond to requests for information, including "know your customer" requests and safety inquiries.
  • Maintain corporate records and documentation, including minute books and board resolutions.
  • Assist in due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of documents, ensuring timely completion and compliance with legal standards.
  • Utilize Salesforce Conga to manage, track, and streamline the contract lifecycle process.
  • Apply AI tools and technologies to enhance legal research, document review, and contract analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information and facilitate and improve legal processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting corporate law, insurance, safety and compliance, including ethics and anti-bribery regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal or corporate environment.
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate legal setting.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, insurance, safety and compliance issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to both understand the "big picture" and pay attention to detail.
  • Experience with Salesforce Conga or other CLM software.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and applications in legal work is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to work proactively
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Location: This position will be located in Austin, TX

Travel:  Occasional travel may be needed (10% or less)
