Electric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE) works with clients on a global scale designing solutions for renewable energy (solar/wind/battery storage), Generation Interconnection, Transmission Planning, Distribution Planning, Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and Smart Grids.

Throughout your internship, you will develop skills to advance professionally and academically.

 

 

How you can make an impact:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Learning and Development (L&D) Intern to join our team. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in designing and delivering training programs, while providing insight into the dynamics of corporate learning environments. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in creating and delivering engaging training programs, including e-learning, virtual and in-person sessions.
  • Design online learning content using instructional design principles and support LMS administration (uploading content, tracking participation, and reporting).
  • Coordinate and facilitate professional development programs (annual leadership conference and virtual learning sessions) and technical programs (online learning).
  • Manage the intake and evaluation of training requests and support learning program logistics.
  • Analyze participant feedback and program metrics to recommend improvements for future initiatives.

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Education, Business or a related field.  
  • Strong interest in corporate/technical learning and development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, and other similar technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn. 

 

Location: This position will be in person at one of the following locations: Austin, TX or Champaign IL. Start date for this position is May 27th, 2025 and will conclude on August 15th, 2025. The position is 40 hours a week.
