Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solutions Architect Intern who will contribute to impactful client projects, such as software implementation, rationalization, and system integration efforts. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in evaluating, integrating, and optimizing enterprise IT systems. You will develop your understanding of system interoperability, hone your analytical and technical skills, and make a tangible impact on projects that enable our clients to achieve their goals.

 

How you can make an impact... 

  • Support the assessment, design, and documentation of enterprise software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Evaluate existing systems for redundancies, recommend optimization strategies, and contribute to software rationalization efforts.
  • Design and execute system integration plans to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between applications.
  • Assist in configuring, testing, and deploying integrated software systems to meet functional and performance criteria.
  • Research emerging technologies and industry best practices to provide innovative recommendations and solutions to client challenges.
  • Create technical artifacts such as integration workflows, data mapping documents, and architecture diagrams while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here what’s needed: 

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software systems and interest in architecture, integration, and evaluation.
  • Basic understanding of system integration concepts, including APIs, middleware, and data mapping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a desire to learn and contribute in a team environment.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Previous internship or coursework in software development, IT, integration, or consulting is a plus.

  

Location: This position will be in person in Champaign IL. Start date for this position is May 26th, 2025 and will conclude on August 15th, 2025. Position is 40 hours a week. 

Travel: Little to none
