Electric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE) works with clients on a global scale designing solutions for renewable energy (solar/wind/battery storage), Generation Interconnection, Transmission Planning, Distribution Planning, Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and Smart Grids.

Throughout your internship, you will develop skills to advance professionally and academically. 

 

 

How you can make an impact:

The Accounting Intern will provide support to accounting team in various functions with provided training that enhances their education with practical experience. The exact assignments will be determined based on experience and aptitude.   

 

  • Conduct data analysis and modeling to create in-depth reports supporting various lines of business (LOBs), driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Assist with ERP system migration, ensuring data cleanup, process implementation, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Support directors and partners by gathering and analyzing financial information, aiding month-end processes, and handling ad-hoc projects.
  • Develop and document detailed policies and procedures to enhance cross-training and operational clarity.
  • Collaborate on new initiatives, leveraging advanced Excel skills and coding knowledge (preferred) to identify solutions and improve workflows.

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here what’s needed: 

  •  Completion of, or current enrollment in, a bachelor’s degree program
    • Accounting, finance, economics, or business administration majors/minors a plus
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

 

Location: Summer internships are fully in person and 40 hours a week. This position will report to our headquarters in  Austin, TX. Start date is May 26, 2025 and end date is August 15th, 2025.
