Electric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE) works with clients on a global scale designing solutions for renewable energy (solar/wind/battery storage), Generation Interconnection, Transmission Planning, Distribution Planning, Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and Smart Grids.

How you can make an impact:

Key Learning Responsibilities:

  • Sales Data Management & Analysis: Learn how to maintain accurate sales data and use data management techniques to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Sales Reporting & Insights Development: Gain experience in creating sales reports, analyzing trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making for the team.
  • CRM Administration: Build familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), assisting with system updates and learning best practices for managing customer relationships.
  • Sales Support & Process Improvement: Support the sales team in scheduling, presentation preparation, and process improvements, all while learning about sales workflows and optimization strategies.
  • Market Research & Lead Management: Explore methods for researching market trends and potential leads, gaining insight into customer qualification and sales strategy.

Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • Junior or Senior standing in an undergraduate program. 

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 

  • Experience in market analytics, market research, or data analysis. 

  • Interest in and basic understanding of the energy market. 

  • Strong analytical and research skills with keen attention to detail. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and data visualization platforms. 

  • Familiarity with market analytics tools is preferred. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Location: This position will be in person at one of the following locations: Austin, TX or Champaign IL. Start date for this position is May 27th, 2025 and will conclude on August 15th, 2025. Position is 40 hours a week. 

Travel: Little to none
