How you can make an impact:
The Distribution Intern will aid the distribution team in design and research. This position will report to an experienced Engineer and be exposed to exciting projects building valuable industry knowledge. Through this opportunity, the intern will gain hands-on experience and perform research in-line with study requirements.
Research and create distribution design sketches per distribution design guidelines and standards
Prepare new drawings utilizing AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Utility Design methods.
Maintain accurate documentation of project correspondence and timelines
Perform and/or check engineering calculations to determine and confirm design feasibility.
Accurately and proficiently communicate design and construction details through drawings
Overall support of the distribution team
: Spring internships will be conducted remotely. Position is part time, in which hours should not exceed more than 20 a week.
